My landscapes in oil are quiet meditations—an effort to preserve the stillness that falls upon me in fleeting moments of awe and wonder. They are my own documentation of serenity and reverence for nature. Inspired by vast, open spaces, I paint the harmony of earth and sky, where light shifts and shadows move gently across the land. I paint from memory and from the photographs I gather on my travels, always drawn to the expansive horizon, that distant place where sky and earth convene. I am - daily - studying color and admiring patterns of light and shadow in my everyday views. Back in the studio, I revel in the mixing of color and finding just the right hues to capture the magic of place. These works will bring beauty and serenity to your home and your everyday moments.
